The CDT in Net Zero Aviation Experience
The CDT in Net Zero Aviation offers a unique and exciting experience that combines innovation and impact driven research with a net zero aviation focused training program to develop skills fit for the future. Graduates will become a nucleus for Net Zero Aviation upskilling across the aviation ecosystem disseminating knowledge and further promoting innovation and collaborative working.
We are offering:

- Fully funded 4 year full-time and 6 year part-time industrially co-sponsored PhDs & EngD’s - £25,183 tax free annual stipend, full fees and additional funding for conferences and 3 month industrial placement

- Graduates, early career researchers and technologists as well as professionals with degrees or relevant work experience including engineering, materials, manufacturing, transport, science, maths, computing, social sciences or environmental topics.
An Exciting, Highly Rewarding Research Journey & Experience
Our programme is designed to develop a wide range of future-proof skills that combine technical, professional, leadership and personal development. Our researchers enrol to a 4-year programme. During year one every co-Hort will be mainly based at Cranfield. In year two to year four the researchers will move to the University that hosts their research.
